The Turnpike Troubadours is an American Alternative Country Rock Band from Oklahoma, formed in 2007 by Evan Felker (Vocals, Guitar), R.C. Edwards (Bass), Kyle Nix (Fiddle), Ryan Engleman (Guitar), and Giovanni Carnuccio (Drums). Their music mixed with Political Folk of Woody Guthrie and the Outlaws-style Honky Tonk of Waylon Jennings with Bluegrass, Cajun. Their debut album in 2010, Goodbye Normal Gasoline, became their first to appear on Billboard's Country Chart, peaking at No. 14 in 2012.
