Red Dirt were an English Psychedelic Blues Band from East Yorkshire, England, formed in 1968 by Dave Richardson (Vocals, Piano, Harmonica), Steve Howden (Guitar), Kenny Giles (Bass), and Steve Jackson (Drums).  They built up an impressive live reputation in Clubs and venues in the North of England.

N.S.U. were a Glaswegian Blues Rock Band from Glasgow, Scotland, formed in 1968 by William Hugh Alexander Brown (Drums), Ernest Rea (Lead Guitar), John Graham Pettigrew (Lead Vocals), and Peter Grant Nagle (Bass, Harp).  Their name from the first track on the first Cream album.  They recorded the album over 3 days in February 1969 at De Lane Lea in Holborn, London, a cutting edge studio where Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd had also recorded.

Turn On, Or Turn Me Down is the only one album by N.S.U., originally released in 1969, remastered and reissued on April 27, 2018 by Secret Records, featuring cover track "On The Road Again" of Canned Heat, and backing vocals by the legendary Sue & Sunny, who singing back-up on Joe Cocker's "With A Little Help From My Friends", "20th Century Boy" for T. Rex and for Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, Elton John and Frank Zappa.

Arzachel were an English Psychedelic Blues Band formed in 1968 by Steve Hillage (Guitar, Vocals, later with Gong), Dave Stewart (Organ, later formed Egg), Mont Campbell (Bass, Vocals, later formed Egg), and Clive Brooks (Drums, later formed Egg).  The band initially called themselves Uriel, they produced their sold album under the Arzachel in June 1969.
