The Hillmen were a Southern Californian Bluegrass Group, formed in 1962, the original line-up of the Golden State Boys consisted of Vern Gosdin (Guitar, Lead Vocals), his brother Rex Gosdin (Double Bass), Don Parmley (Banjo), and Hal Poindexter (Guitar), but he left the grp[ in late 1962, however, and was replaced by 17-Year-Old Mandolin prodigy Chris Hillman, who had previously been a member of the high-profile San Diego Bluegrass Group The Scottsville Squirrel Barkers, was invited to join the Golden State Boys by Parmley, the group friely changed their name to The Blue Diamond Boys before finally setting on The Hillmen.  In 1964 Disbanded, Chris Hillman joined The Byrds, Vern Gosdin became a renowed Country Singer, and Rex Gosdin became a Songwriter, and Don Parmeley joined The Bluegrass Cardinals.

Dino Valente was an American Singer and Songwriter, and one of the lead singers of the Rock Group Quicksilver Messenger Service.  As a songwriter, he was known as Jesse Oris Farow.  He is best known for having written the quimtessential 1960s Love-And-Peace anthem "Get Together", and for writing and singing on Quicksilver Messenger Service's two best known songs "Fresh Air" and "What About Me?".

Jackie DeShannon is an American Singer and Songwriter from Hazel, Kentucky.  She began to record under various names such as Sherry Lee, Jackie Dee and Jackie Shannon, with mixed success.  In 1960, She signed with Liberty Records.  She fared better with the Sonny Bono-Jack Nitzsche song "Needles and Pins" and the self-penned "When You Walk In The Room" to Nol 1, later became US and UK Hits for The Searchers, she continued writing and recording many hits such as "Put A Little Love In Your Heart", "Bette Davis Eyes", "Break-A-Way", "Love Will Find A Way" and many more!.  Many artists have recorded versions of Jackie's songs, including Bruce Springsteen, Ella Fitzgerald, The Isley Brothers, The Righteous Brothers, Karla Bonoff, Cher, The Carpenters, Rita Coolidge, Jim Croce, Annie Lennox, Al Green, Dolly Parton, Marianne Faithfull and many more!
