Leon Russell was an American Musician, Singer and Songwriter who was involved with numerous best-selling Pop Music records over his 60-year career.  His genres included Pop, Rock, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Gospel and more!.  He wrote "Delta Lady", recorded by Joe Cocker, and his song "A Song For You" has been recorded by more than 200 artists, and his "This Masquerade" by more than 75.  He played piano in his early years on albums of The Beach Boys and Jan & Dean.  His first album, Leon Russell, in 1970, the musicians included Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.  One of his biggest early fans, Elton John said Leon Russell was a "Mentor", and they recorded their album The Union in 2010, which earned them a Grammy nomination.  He produced and played in recording sessions for Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Ike & Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, and others.  He was inducted into both the Rock And Roll Of Fame and the Songwriter Hall Of Fame.
