Clannad were an Irish band from Gweedore, County Donegal, formed in 1970 by Ciaran Brennan (Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Mandolin,Vocals), Moya Brennan (Vocals, Harp), Pol Brennan (Flute, Guitar, Percussion, Whistle, Vocals), Noel Dugain Gutar, Vocals), an Padraig Dugain (Guitar Mandola, Mandolin, Vocals).  Beginning as an Acoustic Folk Group mainly performing rearranged Traditional Irish Songs and expanded their sound with original songs in English, Vocal Harmonies, Electric Keyboards, and Elements of Rock, Celtic, New Age, Smooth Jazz, and Gregorian Chant.  From 1980 to 1982, they operated as a six-piece with their sister and niece Eithne (Enya).  Clannad have won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award, a BAFTA, an Ivor Novello Award, and A Bilboard Music Award.

Silly Wizard was a Scottish Folk band from Edinburgh, formed in 1970.  The founder members were two - Gordon Jones (Guitar Bodhran, Vocals, Bouzouki, Mandola), and Bob Thomas (Guitar Mandolin, Mandola, Banjo, Concertina.  In 1972, formed a Trio with Bill Watkins (Guitar, Vocals, Fiddle), later replaced by Chris Pritchard (Vocals), and recruited Johnny Cunningham (Fiddle, Viola, Mandola, Vocals), and Silly Wizard started to take off.  In December 2012, Silly Wizard was inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall Of Fame.

Cara Dillon is an Irish Folk Singer from Dungiven, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland.  She joined the Folk Supergroup Equation.  After leaving the group, she collaborated with Sam Lakeman under the name Polar Star.  In 2001, she released her first solo album, Cara Dillon, which featured traditional songs.  She received four nominations at the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.  In 2004, she received the Meteor Irish Music Award for Best Irish Female.  In 2009, she released her fourth album, the award-winning Hill Of Thieves.
