Flamin' Groovies are an American Rock Band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1965 by Roy Loney (Lead Vocals, Guitar), and  Cyril Jordan (Guitar, Vocals), along with Tim Lynch (Guitar), George Alexander (Bass), and Danny Mihm (Drums), best known for pioneering Power Pop and paving the way for Punk Rock.  They consistently rejected the prevailing Psychedelic Music.
