Mastodon is an American Heavy Metal Band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in early 2000 by Troy Sander (Bass), Brent Hinds (Guitar), Bill Kelliher (Guitar), and Brann Dailor (Drums).  The band released the debut album Remission in 2002, and the second album Leviathan, was base on the famous American novel by Herman Melville, Moby Dick.  Three magazines Awards it "Album of The Year" in 2004:  Revolver, Kerrang! and Terrorizer Mastodon achieved major American commercial success with album The Hunter in 2011, which debuted at No 10 on the Billboard 200 Chart.  The band got The Best Video "Oblivion" Kerrang! Awards in 2009, The Best Album "The Hunter" Kerrang! Awards in 2012, also The Best Album from Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2012.
