The Pretty Things are an English Rock Band  from London, formed in 1963, consisted of Dick Taylor (Guitar), (fellow Sidcup Art College student with Keith Richards, and Mick Jagger), Phil May (Vocals, Harmonica), Brian Pendleton (Rhythm Guitar), John Stax (Bass) and Pete Kitley (Drums), replaced by Viv Andrews and then by Viv Prince on Drums.   The band's name took from Willie Dixon's song "Pretty Thing".  Their most commercially successful period was the mid-1960s.
