Miles Davis was an American Jazz Musician, Trumpeter, Bandleader, and Composer.  He was one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century of several developments in Jazz Music, including Bebop, Cool Jazz, Hard Bop, and Jazz Fusion.  In 2006, Miles Davis was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.  In 2008, his 1959 album Kind Of Blue received fourth Platinum Certification from RIAA for shipment of at least four million copies in USA.
