The Cox Family are an American Bluegrass Band from Cotton Valley, Louisiana.  They first began performing together in 1976.  Their music combined Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Styles.  In the early '90s they met Alison Krauss, who brought them to the attention of Rounder Records.  In 1994 collaboration with Alison Krauss (I Know Who Holds Tomorrow) won the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album.
