The Gods were an English Rock Band founded in 1965 by Mick Taylor (Guitar Ex John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, The Rolling Stones),Greg Lake (Guitar, Vocals, later to King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer), Brian Glascock (Drums), John Glascock (Bass, later with Jethro Tull).  In 1965, the line-up changed and included Mick, Taylor, John Glascock, Joe Konas (Guitar), Ken Hensley, (Keyboards) and Lee Kerslake (Drums).  In 1967, Mick Taylor left to join with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers to replace Peter Green.
