Born and Raised is the fifth studion album by John Mayer, released in May 22, 2012, with the first single "Shadow Days".  This album consisted of musical elements of Folk, Rock and Americana that take influences from Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Graham Nash and David Crosby. 

Born and Raised is his new sound Americana mix between California Country Rock and Laurel Canyon Folk and considered one of the best album.
