Skid Row was original formed in 1967, by Brendan "Brush" Shiels on Bass, Noel "Nollaig" Bridgeman on Drums, Bernard " Bernie" Cheevers on Lead Guitar and Phil Lynott on Vocals, Robbie Brennan on Drums in temporarily replaced original Drummer Bridgeman until June 1969 and Cheevers was replaced by the 16-year-old Gary Moore in early 1968. Later that year Shiels dropped Lynott from the line-up and Skid Row to  be a Super Power Blues-Rock Trio Band .

Skid was the debut album of Irish Super Power Blues-Rock Trio Band Skid Row,which helped launch the career of the Guitarist Gary Moore (16 year-old).
