Downliners Sect are an English Rhythm & Blues Band from Twickenham, West London, formed in 1963 by Don Craine (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals), Keith Gant (Bass, Lead Vocals), Terry Gibson (Lead Guitar), and Johnny Sutton (Drums).  They were similar to Blues-Based Bands such as The Yardbirds, The Pretty Things and The Rolling Stones, playing basic R&B on their first album The Sect.
