Be-Bop Deluxe were an English Rock Band fromWakefield, West Yorkshire, formed in 1972 by Bill Nelson (Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals), Ian Parkin (Guitar), Robert Bryan (Bass, Vocals), Nicholas Chatterton-Dew (Drums), and Richard Brown (Keyboards).  Primarily operated within the Art Rock, Glam Rock, and Progressive Rock Genres.  Their later material laid a vital blueprint for the emerging Proto-Punk and New Wave Scenes.
