Mimi Roman was an American Country Singer from Bronx, New York, who gained notoriety in the 1950s as The First Of The Brooklyn Cowgirls, regularly performing at the Grand Ole Opry and recording for Decca Records.  Despite touring with legends like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, she never achieved mainstream chart success.  She also recorded Pop material under the name. Kitty Ford, wile she never released an album under either name during her active career, her recorded work, as Mimi Roman, and Pussycat as Kitty Ford.  She became one of the early pioneers of Rockabilly.
