The Dave Clark Five were an English Rock Band from Tottenham, London, formed in 1957 by Dave Clark (Drums), Mike Smith (Lead Vocals, Keyboards), Lenny Davidson (Lead Guitar), Rick Huxley (Bass), and Denis Payton (Saxophone, Harmonica, Guitar).  They had their first UK Top Ten Single "Glad All Over", which knocked The Beatles "I Want To Hold Your Hand" of the top of the UK Singles Chart.  The band disbanded in late 1970.  In 2008 the band was induced into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
