Camel are an English Progressive Rock Band from Guildford, Surrey, formed in 1971 by Andrew Latimer (Guitar, Flute, Keyboards,Synthesizers,Vocals), Peter Bardens (Keyboards, Synthesizers, Mellotron, Piano, Vocals), Doug Ferguson (Bass, Vocals), and Andy Ward (Drums, Vocals).  Their music has influenced artists including Marillion, Opeth, Steven Wilson.  Music Journalist Mark Blake described Camel as "The Great Unsung Heroes Of 70s Progressive Rock".
