The Georgia Satellites are a Southern Rock Band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1980 by Dan Baird (Vocals, Guitar), Rick Richards (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Keith Christopher (Bass), and David Michaelson (Drums), named Keith and The Satellites in Atlanta, Georgia, after that the band's line-up changed new Bassist and new Drummer to Dave Hewitt (Bass), and Randy Delay (Drums) and the band's name changed to Georgia Satellites.  Their music are drawing on inspiration from Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones and AC/DC.
