Quicksilver Messenger Service is an American Psychedelic Rock Band from San Francisco Bay Area, formed in 1965 by Dino Valente (Guitar, Vocals), John Cipollina (Guitar), Jim Murray (Vocals) and David Freiberg (Bass), and the group was completed by the addition of Drummer Greg Elmore and Guitarist Gary Duncan. Dino Valente was imprisoned on a drum charge and he didn't rejoin the group until later. They played around the Bay Area and West Coast same as Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.
