Rare Bird were an English Progressive Rock Band, formed in 1969 by Steve Gould (Lead Vocals, Bass), Graham Stansfield (Organ), David Kaffinetti (Electric Piano), and Mark Ashton (Drums).  They released five studio albums between 1969 and 1974 in the UK, the Organ based single "Sympathy" reached No. 27 in February 1970, selling an estimated one million globally.
