Jethro Tull were a British Progressive Rock Group, formed in Luton, Bedfordshire, in 1967, by Ian Anderson (Vocals, Flute), Mick Abrahams (Guitar), Glenn Cornick (Bass) and Clive Bunker (Drums).  Their music mixed of Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Folk, Jazz, and Classical.  The group achieved commercial success in 1969 with the album Stand Up which reached No. 1 in the UK Charts, and toured regularly in the UK and the US.  They have sold over 60 million albums worldwide, with 11 Gold and five Platinum.  They are one of the most commercially successful of Progressive Rock Band by Rolling Stone Magazine.
