Cannonball Adderley was an American Jazz Saxophonist of the Hard Bop Era of the 1950s and 1960s. He worked with Miles Davis on album King Of Blue (1959). In 1966, his single "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" a crossover hit on the Pop Charts. He was with his brother Nat Adderley, a long time member of his band.
