Dwight Yoakam is an American Country Singer, Songwriter, Actor and Film Director from Pikeville, Kentucky.  He first achieved mainstream attenton in 1986 with the release of his debut album Guitar, Cadillacs, Etc.  His first three albums, all reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart.  He has won two Grammy Awards and one Academy Of Country Music Award.
