Bacchus was an American Power Psychedelic Rock, Boogie Power Trio from Tampa, Florida, formed 1970 by Eric Turner (Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Harmonica Ex The Tropics), Charlie Souza  (Bass, Piano, Vocals Ex The Tropics), and Bill Peterson (Drums Ex The Tropics).  The band influenced by Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Allman Brother Band.  They opened for Cactus, Free.  They were also the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd, BB King, The Outlaws, Redbone, Edgar Winter and Ted Nugent.  They went on tour with Grand Funk Railroad around the state.
