The Twilights were an Australian Rock Band from Adelaide, South Australia, formed in 1964 by Peter Brideoake (Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals Ex The Hurricanes), John Bywaters (Bass Ex The Hurricanes), Kevin Peak (Lead Guitar Ex The Hurricanes), Clem "Paddy" McCartney (Lead Vocals Ex The Checkmates), Glenn Shorrock (Lead Vocals Ex The Checkmates), and Frank Barnard: (Drums).  The band had heavily influenced by the British Invasion such as The Beatles, The Hollies, The Who, and The Small Faces.  They won the Hoadley's Battle Of The Sounds competition and were awarded a trip to London, but in England they were unsuccessful.  The band disbanded early in 1969.  Glenn Shorrock was a founding member of Little River Band during 1975-1982 and 1987-1996, he also had a successful solo career.
