The Flower Power were an American Psychedelic Rock Band from Gulfport, Mississippi, formed in 1967 by Craig Ferguson (Guitar, Lead Vocals Ex The Soule Survivors), Robergt Weahersby (Guitar Ex The Telstars), Gregg Guiffria (Organ Ex The Telstars), David McIntosh (Vocals Ex Sandi and The Gang Band), Sandi Craig (Vocals Ex Sandi and The Gang Band), Joe Rolison (Bass Ex The Varments).   The band moved up a gear backing the likes of B.J. Thomas, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and The Family Stone, The Nazz, Todd Rundgren, and many others, the band was the opening act at the first New Orleans Pop Festival, a two day event with Janis Joplin, Santana and The Grateful Dead.
