Canned Heat is an American Blues Rock/Boogie Rock Band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1965 by Alan Owl (Guitar, Harmonica) and Bob Hite (Vocals), who took the name from Tommy Johnson's 1928 "Canned Heat Blues". The band has two big chart hits "Goin' Up The The Country" and "Let's Work Together".
