Birdie was an English Duo from London, formed in 1997 by Debsey Wykes (Vocals, Bass Ex Dolly Mixture) and Paul Kelly (Guitar Ex East Village).  The pair met while serving as touring members of Sant Etienne in 1994, and when tour endedm they began ong some home recording.  The results proved promising enough that the pair headed into a studio to record.
