Count Five was an American Garage Rock Band from San Jose, California, formed in 1964 by Joh Byrne (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Kenn Eliner (Lead Vocals, Harmonica, Tambourine), John Michalski (Lead Guitar), Roy Chaney (Bass), and Craig Atkinson (Drums), best know for their hit single "Psychotic Reaction".

Psychotic Reaction is the only studio album by Count Five, originally released on October 1966 by Double Shot, remastered and reissued on June 6, 2007 by Repertoire Records, featuring the hit single "Psychotic Reaction", reached No. 5 on the Billboard Charts in October 1966.
