Average White Band are a Scottish Funk and R&B Band from Dundee, Scotland, formed in 1972.  They are best known for their million-selling instrumental track "Pick Up The Pieces", and their albums AWN and Cut The Cake.  They have influenced others such as The Brand New Heavies, The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, TLC, and more!.
