Wide Mouth Mason is a Canadian Blues Rock Band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, formed in 1995 by Shaun Verreault (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Safwan Javed (Drums), and along with Earl Pereira (Bass). All went to the same Saskatoon High School in Saskatchewan. The band's sound is rooted in the Blues, not Country Music, influences include Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix.

Where I Started is the third studio album by Wide Mouth Mason, originally released on March 9, 1999 by Warner Music Canada, remastered and reissued on September 8, 2023 by Record Record Label, featuring the successful singles "Why", "Companion (Lay Me Down)", "Sugarcane", and "Half A Chance". The album won the award for Outstanding Rock Recording at the 1999 Prairie Music Awards.
