Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young is a Folk Rock Supergroup made up of David Crosby (Ex The Byrds), Stephen Stills (Buffalo Springfield), and Graham Nash (The Hollies) founded in California in 1968. The band is also known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) whenever the fourth member, Neil Young (Ex Buffalo Springfield) joined them. They are noted for their vocals harmonies. All four members of CSNY have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, though Neil Young's multiple inductions were for his work as a solo artist. They have been pioneers in singers/songwriters in California and enabled the careers of notable artists such as Joni Mitchell and The Eagles, both signed to the same label.
