The Easybeats were an Australian Rock Band from Sydney, New South Wales, formed in 1964 by Stevie Wright (Lead Vocals), Snowy Fleet (Drums), George Young (Guitar), Harry Vanda (Guitar), Dick Diamonde (Bass). They enjoyed a level of success that in Australia rivalled The Beatles. They became the first Australia Rock and to score an international hit, with the 1966 single "Friday On My Mind".
