The Attack were an English Freakbeat and Psychedelic Rock Band from London, formed in 1966 by Richard Shirman (Vocals), David O'List (Guitar, Trumpet, later of The Nice), later replaced by John Du Cann (Guitar, later of Andromeda, and Atomic Rooster), Bob Hodges (Piano, Organ), Gerry Henderson (Bass), and Alan Whitehead (Drums Ex Marmalade).  Their first single "Try It" had also been recorded by The Standells and Ohio Express.  They also released a version of "Hi Ho Silver Lining".
