Tygers Of Pan Tang are an English Heavy Metal Band from Whitley Bay, formed in 1978. The band combined music of the early-'70s Heavy Metal Legends such as Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, and they are a part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement like Iron Maiden and Saxon. Their debut album "Wildcat", which went to British Charts at No. 18 upon its released in July 1980. The band added a Guitar Hero as second guitarist John Sykes (formerly Streetfighter, later in Badlands, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, and Blue Murder).
