Sammy Hagar is an American Rock Vocalist, Guitarist, Songwriter and Musician.  He was the lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitar of the Hard Rock Band Montrose in the mid-'70s, afterwards launched a successful solo career, and became a true star once he joined Van Halen in 1985, replaced David Lee Roth, but left the band in 1996.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame as a member of Van Halen in 2007.
