Extreme is an American Hard Rock Band from Boston, Massachusetts b y Gary Cherone (Vocals Ex The Dream), Nuno Bettercourt (Lead Guitar Ex Sinful), Paul Mangone (Bass), and Paul Geary (Drums Ex The Dream).  The band's influences are Van Halen, Queen, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin.  Their 1990 album Pornografitti, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, and was certified Gold in May 1991 and Double Platinum in October 1992.  That album features the acoustic Ballad single "More Than Words", which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
