The Free Design was an American Sunshine Pop Band and Vocal Group from Delevan, New York, Formed in 1967 by Chris Dedrick (Vocals, Guitar), Sandy Dedrick (Vocals, Keyboards), and Bruce Dedrick (Vocals, Guitar).  Though they did not achieve much commercial recognition during their main recording career, their work later influenced bands including Stereolab, Cornelius, Pizzicato Five, Beck and The High Liamas.  The Free Design is among the Greatest Vocal Harmony Groups of All Time.
