Marillion are a British Progressive Rock Band, from Aylesbury Buckinghamshire, formed in 1979, by Steve Rothery (Lead Guitar), Doug Irvine (Bass), Brian Jelliman (Keyboards), and Mick Pointer (Drums). The band's influences, notably Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Van der Graaf Generator, Queen and Rush. The Band Classic line-up in 1981, when Fish (Lead Vocals) and Diz Minnitt (Bass) replaced the original bassist/vocalist Dough Irvine, and Mark Kelly replaced Brian Jelliman on Keyboards, called The Fish Era and have commercially most successful in Britain Rock Scene, having sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.
