Carl Perkins was an American Rockabilly Singer, and his best-known song is "Blue Suede Shoes".  His songs were recorded by artists as influential as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Johnny Cash.  Paul McCartney even claimed that "If there were no Carl Perkins, there would be no Beatles.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll, the Rockabilly, and the Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame, and was a Grammy Hall Of Fame Award, and called him "King of Rockabilly".
