The Clash were an English Punk Rock from London, formed in 1976 as part of the original New Wave of British Punk.  
The band's elements of Reggae, Dub, Funk, Ska and Rockabilly.  The band achieved commercial success in the UK with the release of their debut album, The Clash, in 1977.  The third album London Calling, in 1979.  The band disbanded in early1986.  They were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, in 2003.
