T. Rex were an English Rock Band from London, formed in 1967 by Marc Bolan (Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist). The band was initially called Tyrannosaurus Rex, and released four Psychedelic Folk Album, the band's early acoustic sound to an electric one, and the following year shortened their name to T. Rex. They have 4 UK No. 1 Hits, "Hot Love", "Get It On", "Telegram Sam" and "Metal Guru". The band's 1971 album Electric Warrior received critical acclaim as a pioneering Glam Rock Album, and reached No. 1 in the UK. In 1977, Marc Bolan died in a car crash.
Title: Electric Warrior is the second studio album by T. Rex, originally released on September 24, 1971 by Fly Records, remastered and reissued on April 29, 2022 by UMC/A&M. The album reached No. 1 on the UK Charts and became the best selling album of 1971, and the single "Get It On", reached the Top Ten in the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
