Spirit was an American Rock Band founded in 1967 and based in Los Angeles, California, consisted of Randy California (Guitar, Vocals), Mark Andes (Bass), Jay Ferguson (Vocals, Percussion), Ed Cassidy (Drums), and John Locke (Keyboards)  Their most commercially successful 11 albums in the U.S. between 1968 and 1977.

Twelve Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus is the fourth album by Spirit, originally released on November 27, 1970 by Epic Records, remastered and reissued on February. 24, 2022 by Esoteric Recordings.  Deluxe Edition newly remastered in 2 CD with 11 Bonus Tracks and additional 17-track of previously unreleassed material recorded at Fillmore West, San Francisco in May 1970 and 
The Boston Tea Party in October 1970.
