The Black Watch is an American Indie Rock Band from Santa Barbara, California, whose only constant member has been Singer, Guitarist, and Primary Songwriter, John Andrew Fredrick.  He formed the band in 1987 after earning his Ph. D. in English from University of California, Santa Barbara, other members kept on changing.  Through their thirty years in the recording industry.
