Cody Johnson is an American Country Music Singer and Songwriter from Huntsville, Texas. He began singing and playing guitar when he was twelve years old. In 2006, he formed The Cody Johnson Band with his dad Carl and drummer Nathan Reedy, and add Matt Rogers (Guitar), after the first album, his father quit the band, Danny Salinas joined the band on Bass, and add Chris Witten (Fiddle), later replaced by Jody Bartula in 2010 and Jeff Smith (Lead Guitar), Joey Pruski (Bass) replaced Danny. He won the 2011 Texas Regional Music Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year. In 2012, he changed the band name to The Rockin' CJB.
