Weather Report was an American Jazz Fusion Band from New York City, New York, formed in 1970 by Joe Zawinul (Keyboards), Wayne Shorter (Saxophone), Miroslav Vitous (Bass), Alphonse Mouzon (Drums), and Don Alias (Percussion).  Weather Report is considered to be one of the pre-eminent early Jazz Fusion Bands.
