Ministry is an American Industrial Metal Band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1981 by Al Jourgensen (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards, Harmonica, Programming), John Davis (Bass, Keyboards, Backing Vocals), Robert Roberts (Keyboards, Backing Vocals, and Stephen George (Drums). The band evolved into one of the pioneers of Industrial Metal in the late 1980s, and attained commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with three of their studio albums. The band has been nominated for six Grammy Awards.
