Back Door Slam are the Blues Rock Band from Isle Of Man, formed in 2003 by Davy Knowles (Vocals, Guitar), Jamie Armstrong (Bass), Ross Doyle (Drums) and Brian Garvey (Rhythm Guitar).  Originally a four-piece, with Castle Rushen High School friends, the band was torn apart in 2004 when Brian Garvey was killed in a car accident.  They decided to carry on in Garvey's memory, from the remained members to reform the band that Knowles writing the emotional tribute to his friend and former bandmate on their debut album Roll Away.
