Ronnie Lane was an English Musician, Songwriter and Producer who is best known as the bassist and founding member of Small Faces and later The Faces that Ronnie Lane was inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012.

After leaving Faces, he formed his own band Slim Chance, the original line-up of this band included Scottish Singer-Songwriters Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle, who provided harmony vocals and played a variety of instruments including Keyboards, Accordion, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Piano, Banjo and Harmonica with British Rock Music, Folk and Country Music.

Sadly, Lane was diagnosed with the debilitating disease multiple sclerosis in the late'70s and in 1983, friends such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Kenney Jones, Andy Fairweather-Low, organizing an ARMS foundation benefit charity concert at Royal Albert Hall and on USA tour with addition of Joe Cocker and Paul Rodgers.
